Ivermectin injection is a ready-to-use,sterile,non-aqueous solution of ivermectin.
Ivermectin is derived from the avermectins, a family of highly active, broad-spectrum
antiparasitic agents which are isolated from fermentation of the soil organism Streptomyces avermitilis.
Ivermectin injection is a 1.0% w/v sterile solution of ivermectin.
At the rate of 1ml per 50kg bodyweight by subcutaneous injection, this formulation will deliver the recommended dosage level of 200ug ivermectin per kg bodyweight to cattle and/or sheep and/or camel.
