Description:
Colsoantel sodium suspension 5% is a kind of helminthic. It is active against fasciola hepatica, 
gastrointestinal eelworms and larvae of arthropods. It is mainly indicated for diseases caused by fasciola hepatica and gastrointestinal eelworms in cattle and sheep, estriasis of sheep and etc.
Indications:
Cattle, sheep-lambs:
Preventive and curative treatment of parasitic disease
- Fluke: Fasciola hepatica, Fasciola Gigantica, immature Paramphistomum sp.
-Nematodes: Haemonchus sp., Strongloides papillosus, Bunostomum phlebotomum, 
Oesophagostomum sp.
-Arthopds: Hypoderma sp. (treatment of warbles) and oestrus ovis at all larval stages.

Administration and Dosage:

Animals	dosage
Cattle	subcutaneous or muscle injection at the rate of 0.5-1ml per 10kg body weight.
Sheep	subcutaneous or muscle injection at the rate of 1-2ml per 10kg body weight

 
Withdrawal period:
Meat and offal 28 days. 
Adverse Reaction: 
Injections are stimulating to some topical tissues.
Precautions:
When treating diseases caused by fasciola hepatica it is recommended to repeat the medication after it has been used for 3 weeks to completely eliminate immature fasciola.
